Sacred Heart University head soccer coach and Connecticut Soccer Hall of
Famer Joe Barroso is now accepting applications to enter 7-a-side (7 v 7) soccer tournaments that he is hosting
on March 24th and April 6th and 7th.
Their Over-30, Over-40 and Over-48 tournaments are a fund raiser for the Sacred Heart soccer program and it would
be a great warm-up before the leagues kick off their spring seasons. FYI, the CSSA have classified these tournaments
as "not USSF-sanctioned" (CSSA player passes are not required, CSSA Accident & Health ('A & H')
insurance is not in force, and referees may not wear the USSF badge).

Five New Members Inducted Into The Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame
Five new members were inducted into the Connecticut
Soccer Hall of Fame at the annual induction ceremony on January
26, 2013. These five exceptional individuals have contributed to the growth and history of the game of soccer in
the state and were honored for their achievements with enshrinement in the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame. This
Class of 2013 joined the 116 members previously inducted since the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame was founded
in 1999.
